8G Firewall

The 8G Firewall feature provides comprehensive protection for your application through advanced firewall rules and security protocols. Configure and oversee security measures, intrusion detection systems, and threat mitigation strategies to ensure your application’s resilience against cyber threats.

This feature is only available on the Tier 3 and Tier 4 plans. To access 8G Firewall, please upgrade your current plan to Tier 3 or Tier 4.

Here’s how to enable and configure the 8G Firewall using ServerKade:

Step 1: First, log in to your ServerKade account.

Step 2: Click on the Server Dashboard button.

Step 3: Click on the Applications option on the left-hand sidebar of the Server Panel.

Step 4: You will now see the Applications table like the image below.

Step 5: Click on the Application Name or Dashboard icon to access the application panel.

Step 6: On the left-hand sidebar of the Application Panel, click on Security.

Step 7: You will now see the 8G Firewall configuration panel as displayed in the image below.

Step 8: Toggle the Enable 8G Firewall switch to activate the protection.

The firewall will immediately start protecting your application from malicious traffic including SQL injection, XSS, and other common threats.
